It’s one of those projects that brings the best out of you.
The one where the adrenalin kicks in and you are truly focused
Working till the early morning hours instead of sleeping properly, eating the whole contents of the hotel room mini-bar instead of taking a break to find somewhere proper to eat.
The kind of project where you find yourself sprinting instead of running a marathon.
It’s bad for your health, you know you should slow down,
But you love it…
It’s BPM projects like these that gets my creative juices flowing. How to build a solution that automates the business process, provides management with visibility into the process, gives the process owner control, making it structured to abide company policies, but to leave enough room for changes.
So I’ve been neglecting my blog for the past week, and focusing on getting the first process ready for testing, building the portal, building the reports, the guages, the bells and the whistles.
It’s at the stage where everyone can see it coming together, and everyone is getting excited.
Still a few hurdles to jump, still a few dragons to slay… but we are nearly there.
It’s the early hours of the morning. Back to the drawing board…
Enjoy your weekend
I’m sure I speak for many when I say “we’ve noticed you gone, and have missed you.” We understand the occasional need for focus and wish for you a “big win” in the goal to please your customer(s). Hurry Back!

Thank you Robert!
A wonderful comment. It is a great feeling to hear that one is missed.
Cheers,

I’m just happy that if you had to take a break, it was while I was on vacation, then trying to catch up on everything I missed while on vacation. 🙂

vacation… vacation… mmm, wait, let me look it up on Goggle… A period of time devoted to pleasure, rest, or relaxation… oooh! that’s a fantastic idea!.. I should do that too… (… maybe someday) 🙂
