BPM Jungle Safari – Estimating Delays

BPM Jungle SafariOSSIE: Thank you for taking me up with you on your aircraft, Daryl.
DARYL: My pleasure OZ, I enjoy your company.
OSSIE: It’s nice to see the jungle from above. Look I can see the Elephants.
DARYL: You better call in base, and tell them where we are.
OSSIE: ok.. (picks up the microphone) Jungle Safari to Base… Jungle Safari to Base… We are currently over the jungle. Estimated arrival time: 3 hours 15 minutes.

(..bang..)

DARYL: (in panic) WHAT WAS THAT?!
OSSIE: (calmly) It looks like one of our engines has fallen off.
DARYL: Oh no!.. That terrible! You better call it in.
OSSIE: (picks up the microphone) Jungle Safari to Base… Jungle Safari to Base… We’ve lost one of our engines. We will be 1 hour late.

(..bang..)

DARYL: OH NO, NOT AGAIN?!
OSSIE: It looks like another one of our engines has fallen off.
(picks up the microphone) Jungle Safari to Base… Jungle Safari to Base… We’ve lost two of our engines. We will be 2 hours late.

(..bang..)

DARYL: SURELY NOT ANOTHER ONE?!
OSSIE: Yes, another of our engines has fallen off.
(picks up the microphone) Jungle Safari to Base… Jungle Safari to Base… We’ve lost three of our engines. We will be 3 hours late.

(..bang..)

DARYL: OH NO, OUR LAST ENGINE HAS FALLEN OFF!! YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS !

OSSIE: (calmly) Yes… Jungle Safari to Base… Jungle Safari to Base…
You might as well pack it in. We are going to be up here all night!

  1. Absolutely, Adam. Yesterday the BPM project was about to tumble into the ravine, today they are a step further.
