Inspiring Innovation

Steve jobsEvery generation has its champions, its inspirers.

We want to be like them, to have their passion, their creativity.

When Armstrong landed on the moon, millions of kids wanted to be an astronaut
In times of war, everyone wants to be a pilot or a general. Champions inspire us.

Our current champions are software innovators, the entrepreneurs and inventors: Bill Gates (Microsoft), Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Larry Page (Google), Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Jack Dorsey (Twitter) and the trio Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim (YouTube)

Steve Jobs is synonymous with innovation.

Innovation has nothing to do with how many R&D dollars you have. When Apple came up with the Mac, IBM was spending at least 100 times more on R&D. It’s not about money. It’s about the people you have, how you’re led, and how much you get it.

Business Process Management won’t be the next Google, it wont be the next Facebook, it wont be the next Apple, but its not about technology, its about innovation, creativity, passion.

Would the next BPM champion please step forward.

“We’re born, we live for a brief instant, and we die. It’s been happening for a long time. Technology is not changing it much — if at all.” – Steve Jobs
